About Us

Jorge Aguirre restaurateur was brought to United States from Argentina in 1972 to restore the antiques furniture of the Embassy of Argentina in Washington DC.

Aguirre was trained in Buenos Aires by the best european masters artists who had arrived from all over Europe. He discovered his passion for the beauty of furniture at the age of 14 working at The School of Art in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

His brilliant carrier made him to become restaurateur at the Smithsonian Institution. After that, he was called by the Columbia Historical Society to restore all the furniture in the old castle. Aguirre was also at the Tudor Mansion working for a whole year undertaking the complete restoration and preservation of the historical furniture.

Aguirre runs a one-man shop. With more than 40 years of experience, he continues to provide restoration and repair services of high quality furniture to historical houses, embassies and antiques private collectors.
